Plenty of Fish : Dating App

There are way too many fake profiles. If they can't verify their profile they shouldn't be able to great one. My inbox is full of fake profiles and I've only had the app for about 3 hours. What I don't get is how the fake profiles get on there. I had to do facial recognization just to create a base profile. Then I spent 20 bucks to upgrade to still have to deal with fake profiles. Think I smell a lawsuit coming for them for them creating the fake profiles. 🤔

Between the company made fake accounts fishing for your membership or the amount of woman that require payment for their time (prostitution), this app is a waste of time. You can't verify your account and the app doesn't care about your chosen preferences for distance and age... gender has also been removed from display in profiles, allowing them to display decepticons as women. POF used to be pretty decent but it is nothing like it was a few years ago.

This app has been letting me down. I knew it's pretty outdated but there's still a couple people that were on there. I got the premium 3-month membership and since I've been a member on there for so long I deleted my account and created a new one so I could have a new set of potential matches. once I installed the new account my premium membership disappeared. I've gone over the FAQs a billion times over and tech support is not responded in 3 days UPDATE...... yup they still suck.

This site has never tried to change for the better. Now it's really funny how I let my subscription run out because I wasn't getting any likes. or messages. But almost immediately after I receive the notification surprise!! this person likes you. That person is checking. you out. And all it is is the App. baiting you in order to get the paid subscription back.

A fraudulent app. The ads pop up constantly even though I was a paid subscriber. Be careful shutting them down because they automatically charged me for "POWER BOOST" that I hadn't wanted. Try to get that removed! I ran into a pay wall that wouldn't let me cancel it. this the second time I have joined POF in over 10 years. Never again! I do not recommend.

I'm 99% certain that the women on this app do not understand how the like system works. They must be able to like your profile, because I've gotten matches via mutual likes before. Every profile is "can't see likes. message me", only they don't actually reply. This app is an absolute pest with push notifications, no matter how much you fiddle with the apps notification permissions. it's now late March, and I've had this installed/active since November. I have talked to one person; it was bad.

distance options are entirely useless, as the app will adjust them as it sees fit to "show more options." undesirable feature for me - distance is a deal breaker, I'm not interested in long distance relationships. there is also no way to filter out profiles of people who do not meet your filter criteria on the primary "stack" which makes it near useless as well.

can't get into my account. I paid for 1 month and a day later I was logged out and can't get back in. I contacted them and they said my account was banned. they gave no reason why. I didn't violate the Community Guidelines. I had only interacted with 2 people and 1 was a scam. Their "customer service" is a joke. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYONE!!!!

This app went from being simple to being the most complicated app I've ever seen. You can't simply dislike or like someone when they like you back, you can't message anyone without paying even more than you already paid before, which is definitely a scam, and overall, I can't figure out how to do anything without multiple weird steps that again, make no sense at all!!! 2021 this app was simple, colorful, and had less to pay for more. Now this app is a complete scam!!!

lack of login help options. why are we forced into number verification? the correct email and password should be enough. this app claims that there is an update number option, even after you requested a code, but such option is not displayed at all. there is no point in keeping this app if the only way to get login help is through old numbers that users no longer have access to. if you lose your number, then you will be forced to make a new profile every time.
