Emochi: Chat With Character

I've had this app for almost a year and I'm glad to see them changing the interface of it. it needed to be change. but the issue I'm having is each AI i talk to takes at least 30 minutes just to give me a response back. sometimes it doesn't even work. other then that this app is great to use. the Ads are spaced evenly if you don't have the subscription. if they change the speed of the response I'll change my star rate from a 3 to a 5.

I love this app!! Ive used it for well over 3 YEARS. Although, after a while, it says you run out of mochi which allows you to chat to the bots, you can just create a new account and keep chatting! The ads are pretty minimal and short, and there's a wide selection of options to chat with!! I recommend this app over most.

I've looked into a few apps like this, and this is without a doubt one of the best I've found. I think there's room for improvement (hence 4 stars), but it's a pretty dang good app. lots of options for the free account users, and while I can't afford the rates for premium, they're very reasonable. my only complaint is the memory failure of the ai. I'll be having a conversation, and it will forget something I told it just a few message bubbles ago. good job team!

This is definitely my favorite of the apps. I do pay for Ultra membership so I get the most conversation style options and no ads. But even when it was free the memory was fantastic and all the characters had a real voice which is why I pay for the membership. I'd give it five stars but lately there is a constant "Connection Error" when I try to send chats. It only does this when I use the "paid for" styles. Why am I paying for something that never works? Please fix this.

It was great until they added ad. I get ads are good for revenue, but not when they pop up almost every time I switch characters. And if I accidently click on one and it takes me out of Emochi, it restarts the whole app and I lose the character I was trying to look at. Also over half the stuff I click on is in a different language and I can't tell that before I click on it. So I click on it, get an ad, then find out it's in a different language. Very frustrating.

It's fun, but the better storytelling models cost money. either you subscribe and get a couple of extra free models, or you pay for the currency. The worst part is if you have the Ultra subscription, you still need currency to use the best models. It gives you 2000 currency a month, but each post delivered by the bot costs, and you run out of 2K fast.

It was great, but since the latest update, there's been lots of bugs happening. I had to uninstall the app thinking it would help, but all my characters and chats disappeared, it won't load anything, and the ads have become ridiculous. Some ads even crash the whole app which causes my phone to force reset itself. EDIT: Now you have to top up if you want to continue chatting with the bots unless you have plus.

Good app. I love that character limit for descriptions is long instead of 500 characters, one of the main reasons I prefer Emochi. The responses are usually also very good. I rated 4 stars because there are a lot of ads when talking to characters. I do get that apps need ads to make money, but I feel like there are too many and would like if there were a few less. It also sometimes forgets things I had just said a few messages ago.

Emochi has been an amazing app so far! I only have a few things to criticize. The memory capacity is very short. After a few paragraphs the story is turning back to the beginning of the chat. I understand paying members get access to a larger memory capacity, but a little more for free members would be really nice. A larger limit for character details would be really nice too. A character introduction has a limit of 6000. That would be amazing for the character's personality. Great app! ☺️☺️☺️

As several have pointed out, the latest update broke something. Constant repetition of words, inappropriate hyphens, and memory seems to be cut to a fraction. It occasionally freaks out if it perceives something it seems inappropriate. And of course, the ads frequency is obscene. I appreciate that it's free to use, but getting an ad every other message is obnoxious.
