Every time the new content is updated in the app, My video screen shows black and only audio is playing. I tried everything by removing cache memory, installed the app again, but the same thing is happening. It was a really horrible experience because I have been facing this for the last one month.

I feel completely cheated by JioHotstar. First, I paid for the subscription, and after making the payment, I was asked to upgrade to another plan. I paid an additional ₹200 because I thought that would give me access to the content. However, within just 30 minutes, the content I was watching was stopped, and I was again asked to purchase a premium subscription. This is extremely misleading and unfair to customers.

⭐ 1 Star I paid for the premium version specifically to remove ads, but I am still seeing ads. I paid for an ad-free experience, and the app is not delivering what I paid for. I want a full refund for my purchase. Please process my refund instead of charging users for a feature that clearly isn’t working. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend purchasing the premium version until this is properly fixed.

I’ve already watched all the episodes of Haikyuu!! in Japanese, and I just started watching the Telugu-dubbed version on Hotstar. Honestly, the dubbing in Season 2, Episode 1 is extremely disappointing. I don’t know who the dubbing artists are, but the actual context and dialogues have been changed so much from the original that it completely takes away from the experience. It feels like the original meaning, emotions, and intent behind the conversations have been heavily manipulated.

3 star to this App just for the contents and sports entertainment. I reduced 2 stars just for making us nostalgic and taking us back to the Doordarshan era with the constant ads. Only difference is we are paying here to watch ads and Doordarshan was free. While watching a movie I am seeing more ads than the movie. Reduce the number of ads then this will be a better app and please don't reply to this that you are disappointed but we have higher packages where we have no ads.

Had a really bad experience with this app. Sometimes it feels like there are ads in movies or movies in ads, and also doesn't have much to offer in sports other than cricket, can't even watch football tournaments other than the premier league here. Movies are there but full of ads, no fun to watch. Most of the movies of this app are available on Netflix or prime video too. Not buying the subscription anytime in future. Also the app crashes a lot during live streams of matches.

Absolute nonsense! First, they force you to buy a membership, and then they expect you to pay even more just to remove ads and have premium subscription. What is the point of paying for a subscription if we still have to watch endless ads? Every 2 seconds of a video is interrupted by three 1.5-minute unskippable ads. Extremely greedy and pathetic user experience. Do not waste your money!

one of the main reasons I prefer watching serials online is to skip the unwanted ads. However this app is absolutely hopeless. Instead of watching ads inbetween serials/shows, one ends up watching serials in between ads. There are so many ads that it's very frustrating. Even the movies play in between innumerable ads , not the other way around

One of the worst "chindi" companies I have ever encountered. Recently, it started allowing logins on only two devices instead of capping streams based on devices. I personally have 3 PCs, 4 televisions, 3 iPads, and 3 mobile phones, and this app says I can only be logged in on two of them. So, basically, whenever I want to switch to another device, I have to log in again and again, and that too with an OTP. At this point, this is too much already.
